Erwan Picquet

After studying lyric singing at the Conservatoire de Versailles, Erwan Picquet discovered the richness of medieval and Renaissance music thanks to the teachings of Anne-Marie Deschamps, Jean-Paul Rigaud, Raphaël Picazos, Véronique Bourin and Anne Delafosse.
He performed with various ensembles of medieval music including Venance Fortunat, Beatus, Comet Musicke or Mediva. He is the co-founder of Quadruplum and Rue des Chantres, two sets specialized in improvisation and interpretation of the repertoires of the 12th and 13th centuries. It also performs with ensembles of Renaissance music (Entheos, La Dolce Maniera) and baroque music (Akadêmia, Stradivaria, Concerto Italiano...). He is a professor of singing and choir conductor at the Conservatoire de musique et de danse de Saint-Denis.
