Vincent Pislar

After studying classical singing and dastrophysics, Vincent Pislar specializes in medieval music. He studied Gregorian singing and the first polyphonies at the Centre de musique médiévale de Paris with Catherine Sergent, Marie-Noëlle Colette and Brigitte Lesne, performing soloist singing (XIe -XIVe s.) at the Université Paris-Sorbonne with Benjamin Bagby and improvised polyphonies, medieval counterpoint and reading on sources at the CNSM in Paris with Raphaël Picazos. He has been part of various vocal ensembles, in particular the ensembles of soloists Dialogos (dir. Katarina Livljanić) with whom he recorded two CDs awarded by the musical press and Sequentia (dir. Benjamin Bagby) specialized in the interpretation of medieval music. He regularly sang at Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris with the Gregorian Ensemble of Notre-Dame (ed. Sylvain Dieudonné).
