In Mary's Footsteps

By exploring the Parisian manuscripts of the twelfth and thirteenth centuries, Rue des Chantres followed the steps of Mary of Nazareth, descendant of Abraham, wife of Joseph, mother of Jesus. We will accompany him from his miraculous conception to his assumption, passing through the announcement made by an angel that she was going to bring forth a virgin, Joseph's reaction, the birth of Jesus, the presentation of his son to the temple, his concern when she loses him at twelve years in the crowd in Jerusalem. She encourages him to do his first miracle in Cana and weeps all the tears of the world at his death on the cross. In a concert with poetic and poignant texts mixing polyphonies of Notre-Dame de Paris and Gregorian songs, Rue des Chantres you will live the legendary and grandiose existence of a woman whose life was miracle.
